3. Talk abut the prnunciatin f cnsnants and cmbinatins “c,k,ck,h,wh,w,s,sh,th,qu”.
4. Talk abut weak frm in sentences.

4. Students are able t master the prnunciatin f cnsnants and cmbinatins “c,k,ck,h,wh,w,s,sh,th,qu”,thrugh practical exercises with wrds and sentences.

1. Students recgnize the names f ccupatins and have an in-depth understanding f their cnntatins.
2. Students can flexibly use the “be ging t” structure t talk abut their dream jbs and make crrespnding plans.

Step 1 Lead-in(1a)
1. The teacher asks students t share their parents' jbs.
T:What des yur father d?
S1:He is a pliceman.
T:Hw abut yur mther?
S1:She is a teacher.
T:What ther jbs d yu knw?
2. Ask students t brainstrm mre jbs they knw.

Step 2 Listening & Speaking(1b~1d)

1. Ask students t listen t the cnversatins and circle the jbs they hear in 1b.
T:Jhn,Peter and Tina are talking abut their future dream jbs. What d they want t be? Listen and circle the three jbs.
2. Ask students t share their answers and help t crrect prnunciatin if necessary.

1. Ask students t listen again and find ut what each student is ging t d,and then match the names with the statements.
T:Hw are they ging t achieve their dreams? Listen and match what they are ging t d with the sentences.
2. Ask students t share their answers and help t crrect their mistakes if necessary.
3. The teacher asks students t wrk in grups t circle the verb phrases abut their plans.
(The teacher writes key pints n the blackbard when students are sharing.)

1. The teacher writes the names Tina,Jhn and Jasn n pieces f paper,and lets students draw lts and intrduce names f the dream jbs they draw.
2. Chse tw r three pairs f students t share their cnversatins.
3. Ask students t annymusly write dwn their dream jbs n pieces f paper (withut writing their names) and add a reasn (e.g.“I want t be a dctr because I want t help peple.”).
4. Ask each grup f students t put their ntes int a bx,then take turns drawing a nte and reading it alud. Other grup members guess whse dream jb it is,like “I think this is…,because he/she likes…”. Students wh guess crrectly will receive a small sticker as a reward. If the guess is wrng,the wner f the nte will reveal the answer themselves and add mre details.

Step 3 Prnunciatin & Speaking(1~2)
1. The teacher shws sme wrds and asks them t put the wrds in different categries accrding t the underlined letters' prnunciatin.
2. Ask students t prnunce the wrds and write dwn the underlined letters' phnetic symbls.

1. Ask students t listen t the recrding and repeat after the recrding.
2. Ask students t add ne mre wrd accrding t the prnunciatin in each grup.
3. Shw students tngue twisters. The teacher first reads the tngue twisters slwly,allwing students t feel the recurring sunds.
4. Invite students t challenge themselves by reading alud. Other students act as judges and scre based n prnunciatin accuracy and fluency. The student with the highest scre will be named the “Tngue Twister Master” and get a small prize.

1. Ask students t listen t the recrding and repeat after the recrding. Students pay attentin t hw the bld wrds are prnunced.
2. Ask students t read in pairs and chse tw r three pairs t share in class.
3. Play the vide clips f Let It G,and ask students t feel the weak frm in sentences.
4. Distribute the script texts,and ask students t practise in grups.
5. Ask each grup t cme t the frnt t present. The grup with the mst vtes will be awarded the title f “Best Imitatin Team” and receive small gifts.
【设计意图】 通过跟读以及小组活动练习,学生能够掌握辅音字母及字母组合c,k,ck,h,wh,w,s,sh,th,qu的发音并感知句子中的弱读。
