教学目标
通过本单元的学习，学生能够用所学知识和语言讲述关于动物如何帮助人类的故事，解释动物对于人类的重要性，理解人与动物之间的关系并描述野生动物如何成为我们的朋友和助手。
通过本课的学习，学生能够：
1. 获取语篇故事的基本信息，理解文章标题 A blind man and his “eyes”的含义。
2. 运用stry muntain梳理关于Jhn和Charlie互助的故事情节，利用关键词进行故事复述。
3. 理解动物与人类的朋友关系，增强爱护动物的意识。
二、教学重难点
1. 梳理、概括关于Jhn和Charlie互助的故事情节，了解动物对人类的重要性。（重点）
2. 利用图片和关键词复述课文内容。（难点）
三、教学过程
Step 1 激活旧知，阅读铺垫
教师展示8张图片（课本第52页），学生说出图片中的动物。按照从左往右、从上往下的顺序，依次是：dgs, dlphins, cws, bees, hens, sheep, cats, hrses。
教师提出问题：Why are animals imprtant t us? 引导学生得出动物能帮助人类的答案，并让学生两人一组，根据所预习内容和句式提示，分享动物是如何帮助人类的。
范例：
S1: What d yu think f____?
S2: ____ are useful animals. They help/prvide/can ____.
教师引导学生根据6张小狗帮助人类的图片，思考并说出小狗在生活中是如何帮助人类的。从右上的导盲犬图片开始，顺时针方向的关键词分别为：guide blind peple, catch thieves, lk fr missing peple, rescue peple in danger, play with us, guard ur hmes, hunt animals。教师引出小狗是人类的好朋友，并介绍本课主题。
Step 2 读前预测，概括大意
教师引导学生根据观察课文的标题、副标题、图片等，预测课文内容，回答以下问题。
Q: What is the genre f the article?
(key: stry)
Q: Wh is the blind man?
(key: Jhn Dancer)
Q: What des “eyes” mean in the title?
(key: Charlie)
Q: What is the stry prbably abut?
(pssible key sentence: Charlie saved his life.)
Q: What elements（要素）des a stry have?
(key: time, place, characters and plt)
2. 引导学生快速阅读全文，抓取故事的四要素。引导学生在课文中划出标志性句子或者关键词。
Pssible key sentences r key wrds:
Time (When): ne night
Place (Where): at a htel
Characters (Wh): Jhn Dancer, Charlie, a receptinist, a fireman
Plt (What happened): There was a fire at the htel.
Step 3 读取信息，了解结构。
学生阅读后，根据故事发生的先后顺序，完成图片排序。鼓励学生在课文中划出标志性句子或者关键词。(key:1 - c, 2 - a, 3 - e, 4 - d, 5 - f, 6 - b)
2. 教师讲述记叙文经常采用的“起承转合”的结构，即beginning, develpment(rising actin), climax(turning pint), falling actin and ending, 让学生了解故事山的绘制。

3. 思考分析。引入场景：一名记者想了解更多关于Jhn和Charlie是如何从火场逃生的。学生了解故事信息后，仔细思考并回答以下问题。

Step 4 分析语篇，深入思考
学生讨论并思考。Q: Did Jhn save Charlie, r did Charlie save Jhn? Why?
2.教师引导学生通过观察课文中的几个关键句进行分析，最终得出是Jhn和Charlie互助互救，使学生了解盲人和导盲犬之间相互依赖、相互陪伴的友好关系。
Step 5 读后复述，深化主题
引导学生根据排序后的图片及关键词，复述Jhn和Charlie的故事。
引导学生回顾本课所学内容，再次深化主题。

1. 模仿录音的语音、语调，朗读第53页课文。
2. 完成课本第55页Vcabulary练习1及练习2。
（二）拓展性作业：
利用书本或网络资源，查找关于动物和人互助的真实故事。按照故事4要素的表格，整理所查找的故事。
