      A grup f Chinese language students frm Spain visited Malta fr three days.They had a chance t enjy themselves in the amazing Chinese cultural experiences there.
      At the Cnfucius Institute f the University f Malta n Saturday, the students frm the Official Schl f Languages were attracted by traditinal Chinese flute (长笛) perfrmances, and Chinese tea making.Each f them was phtgraphed trying n Hanfu, a frm f traditinal Chinese clthing.Despite their age differences, they all prved their dexterity (灵巧) at traditinal Chinese wrks such as paper­cutting and knt­weaving.Maria Nieves, a grup member, expressed her strng interest in Chinese culture, after tw years f learning the language.“Despite the challenges, Chinese characters are truly beautiful,” she said.
      On Sunday, the grup visited the Mediterranean Reginal Center fr Traditinal Chinese Medicine in Pala, Malta.Under the guidance f a dctr, they practiced Ba Duan Jin, a set f exercises whse name translates as “eight steps t healthy living”.A lecture n TCM intrduced them t treatments like acupuncture (针灸) and cupping, and sme f the students had the chance t persnally experience a treatment.Feng Hua, leader f the Chinese medical team, says that the TCM center is planning t hst mre students, wh are interested in TCM and Chinese culture t take part in cultural exchange, and learn mre abut Chinese medical practice.
      During their visit t the China Cultural Center in Valletta n Mnday, the students were drawn t the traditinal Chinese lanterns hanging in frnt f the entrance, and als t the beautiful tea sets in the main hall.Yuan Yuan, directr f the China Cultural Center in Malta, highlights the imprtance f cultural exchange in prmting friendship between natins.
