知识点1 influence vt. 影响[归纳拓展] 辨析: affect与influence1. affect常指有形力量造成的物质或心理上的影响,侧重“影响”的动作,指一时的“影响”。当宾语是health或表示身体某部分的词语时,常指“对……产生不良影响”;当宾语是人时,指对人的心智和情感发生作用,使之产生情感波动。

知识点12 宾语从句(一)[归纳拓展] 由that、 whether及if 引导的宾语从句:1. 当宾语从句为陈述性的句子时,用that引导(在非正式场合that可以省略)。注意:(1) 当主句谓语动词是 think、 believe、 suppse、 expect 等词,且宾语从句表示否定的意思时,常把否定转移至主句。如:I dn’t think it is right fr him t treat yu like that.我认为他像那样对待你是不对的。
(2) 在以下情况中that不能省略:① 当主句中的谓语动词后接两个或以上由that引导的宾语从句时,第一个that可省略,但后面的that不可省略。如:He said (that) yu were t yung t understand the matter and that I shuld nt tell yu abut it.他说你太年轻不懂这件事,并说我不应该告诉你关于这件事。② 当主句中的谓语动词与that引导的宾语从句之间有插入语时, that一般不可省略。如:Just then, I nticed, fr the first time, that ur mnitr was wearing his green cat. 就在那时,我第一次注意到,我们的班长穿着他的绿色外套。
2. 当宾语从句的语义相当于一个一般疑问句时,用whether或if 引导。一般来说, whether与if在宾语从句中可以互换,但在以下情况下只能用whether:(1) 在带t的不定式前。如:He was uncertain whether t stay r leave. 他拿不定主意是该留下还是离开。(2) 在介词的后面。如:I hear yu’re taking bets n whether she’ll marry him. 我听说你在拿她是否会嫁给他的事和人打赌。(3) 在与r nt连用时。如:It remains t be seen whether r nt this idea can be put int practice.这一想法能否付诸实践还有待观察。
3. 宾语从句中的语序:宾语从句中一律用陈述句语序。4. 宾语从句中的时态:(1) 若主句的时态为现在时,从句根据需要可用任何时态。(2) 若主句的时态为一般过去时,从句要用相应的过去时;但如果从句部分为客观事实或真理,从句的时态不受主句时态的影响。
