教学目标
通过本节课学习，学生能够：
1. 通过听录音、看图、看动画，理解对话大意，获取Sarah旧物存放的位置信息以及处置旧物的打算，树立旧物再利用的意识。
2. 听、说、认读核心句型“Where is Is it Yes, it is. / N, it isn’t. It’s in/n/under ...”，并恰当运用所学语言与他人谈论物品的位置。
3. 在交流中认真听对方的表达并礼貌地给予回应，通过提问推动对话继续。
4. 在听录音或看动画时模仿说话者的语音、语调，并感知句子中的重读和连读。
教学内容
教学重点：
能够听、说、认读核心句型“Where is Is it Yes, it is. / N, it isn’t. It’s in/ n/ under ...”，并恰当运用所学语言与他人谈论物品的位置。
教学难点：
能够运用“Where is ”询问物品存放位置，通过“Is it ”提问推动对话继续，并礼貌运用“Yes, it is. / N, it isn’t.”给予回应。
教学过程
Step 1 Warm up and Lead in
1. Listen and chant. 播放开篇页Listen and chant歌谣动画，学生吟唱歌谣。
Q: What ld things are in the chant?
引导学生说出歌谣中提到的旧物dlls、balls。激活学生已有知识，自然引出主题，为后续句型学习做铺垫。
2. Lk, chse and say.
Q: Where are the dlls and balls?
呈现歌谣动画中旧物存放的两幅画面，引导学生读图，选择，回答问题，初步感知核心句型结构。
Step 2 Presentatin and Practice
1. Lk and predict
Q: Wh are they? What are they ding? 引导学生看图预测对话人物正在做什么事情，训练学生的整体读图能力。
2. Listen and tick.
Q: What ld things is Sarah lking fr? An English bk r an animal bk?
学生听完整录音，关注对话细节，完成学习单任务一：听录音，勾选图片。
3. Watch and find. 播放课本完整配套动画，学生看视频，寻找动物书的位置。

4. Think and say.
呈现B Let’s talk插图。
Q1: Where is the animal bk? Is it n the shelf? 引导学生回答“N, it isn’t.”。
Q2: Is it in the bx? 引导学生回答“Yes, it is.”。
Q3: What else des Sarah find?
引导学生回答并跟读“Aha! It’s in the bx. And this ld cap t.”。
Q4: What des“And this ld cap t.”mean here?
引导学生理解并回答“The cap is in the bx t.”。
通过递进式问题，模拟真实交际场景，突破用“Is it ”提问推动对话继续的难点。
5. Watch and tick. 再次播放完整动画，引导学生关注动画中Sarah想象泡里的插图。

学生观看动画，完成学习单任务二：看视频，勾选选项。
通过观察动画中Sarah的想象泡插图，引导学生关注旧物处理方式，既深化教学目标1中“树立旧物再利用意识”的情感渗透，又为后续“旧物再利用”讨论做好铺垫。
6. Listen and imitate. 播放本课对话音频，引导学生跟读模仿，关注对话中的连读及语调。
7. Rle-play. 示范对话表演，并提供评价标准，学生尝试一人分饰两角表演对话。
Step 3 Cnslidatin and Extensin
1. Play a guessing game.
呈现课本中的插图，先由老师和学生使用“Is it ”开展猜测，然后呈现Chen Jie和Mike的完整对话，引导学生一人分饰两角，就物品位置开展问答，使用“Is it ”推动对话继续，
在游戏中巩固方位介词，解决“灵活运用句型”的教学难点。
2. Make a new dialgue. 呈现四幅插图，其中第二幅是空白图。
Q: What’s Wu Binbin lking fr?
引导学生发现He is lking fr an ld bx.
引导学生根据插图及气泡框内的句型提示，补全空白图，创编一个新的对话，发展学生的语言迁移能力。
3. Think and say. 呈现Sarah和Wu Binbin的两幅插图。
T: Sarah will give the ld things t her brther. Wu Binbin will share the ld things with his sister. What can we d with the ld things?
学生思考并说一说再利用旧物的方式。
小结：We can reuse the ld things in many ways. We can give them away. Maybe we can sell them. And we can take them t schl, share with friends and make new things t. We can give ld things new life.
通过讨论旧物再利用方案，深化主题意义，呼应教学目标1中“树立旧物再利用意识”的情感目标。

1. Listen and read Let’s talk n Page 55 crrectly and fluently. 听录音，正确流利朗读
课文。
2. Finish the exercises. 完成课后练习。
3. Lk fr the ld things and make a new dialgue. 寻找旧物，将寻找过程创编成一个新对话。
