Warm-Up & Greeting (5 minutes)
Greetings:
T: "Gd mrning/afternn, bys and girls! Hw are yu tday?"
Ss: Respnd with gestures r simple phrases (e.g., "Fine, thank yu!").
Sng:
T: "Let’s sing a sng! D yu like cats? (Sing the sng with actins: D yu like cats? Yes, I d! D yu like dgs? N, I dn’t!)"
Ss: Sing alng and mimic actins.
II. Game: Guess the Animal (8 minutes)
T: "Nw, let’s play a game! Listen carefully and tell me what animal it is."
Play sunds f animals (dg, bird, rat, cat, rabbit, fish).
Ss: Guess and shut ut answers (e.g., "Dg!", "Bird!").
Fllw-Up Questin:
T: "D yu like birds? Shw me a smile face (
Ss: Respnd with gestures.
III. Class Pet Activity (12 minutes)
A. Intrduce the Class Pet (Rabbit)
T: "Tday, ur class is chsing a pet! We did a survey, and the mst ppular pet is… a rabbit!
Shw a picture r ty rabbit.
T: "Pets are ur friends. We lve pets! Let’s make a name card fr ur new class pet."
B. Steps t Create the Name Card
Step 1: Draw an Animal
T: "Draw a rabbit (r anther pet yu like) n yur paper."
Prvide crayns/markers. Mdel drawing a simple rabbit.
Step 2: Make a Name Card
T: "Write the rabbit’s name n the card. Fr example, ‘Fluffy’ r ‘Snwball’."
Ss: Write r dictate names (teacher assists as needed).
Step 3: Share Yur Card
T: "Wh wants t share their name card? Say, ‘My pet’s name is…’"
Ss: Share cards and names (e.g., "My pet’s name is Fluffy!").
IV. Sng & Wrap-Up (8 minutes)
Sng:
T: "Let’s sing the sng again! D yu like cats? (Clap hands and sway!)"
Ss: Sing alng with actins.
Summary:
T: "Pets are ur friends! D yu like…? (Yes, I d. / N, I dn’t.) Let’s be kind t all pets!"
Ss: Repeat key phrases (e.g., "Yes, I like rabbits!").
