Play a vide f the winter in Hainan and Harbin. Ask students t watch and then answer the questins.
T：Which cities are mentined in the vide? Which seasn des it shw abut?

T：Are there any differences f winter in the tw cities?
S2：Harbin is clder than Hainan.

2．Ask students t bserve the bld wrds and explre the frmatin rules f adjective cmparatives thrugh these examples，as well as when t use cmparatives (grup wrk)．
3．Prvide additinal language usages nt mentined in the textbk.

形容词和副词比较级的变化规律
单音节词和部分双音节词，词尾直接加－er

以字母e结尾的单音节词和部分双音节词，词尾加－r

以“辅音字母＋y”结尾的双音节词，把y改为i，再加－er
happy－happier early－earlier
以重读闭音节结尾，末尾只有一个辅音字母时，先双写该辅音字母，再加－er

部分双音节词和多音节词，在词前加mre
