      2. create an unusual inventin and make a presentatin

      教学重点:
      1. Intrduce students t the realm f unusual inventins and fster an appreciatin fr creative thinking.
      2. Encurage students t actively engage in the creative prcess by designing, creating and presenting their wn unusual inventins.
      教学难点:
      1.Guide students thrugh the entire prcess f creating unusual inventins.
      2. Encurage students t make a presentatin fr their unusual inventin and evaluate classmates’ creative wrk.
      教学过程
      Lead-in: 9 dts puzzle
      Students play a game called 9 dts puzzle.
      Q: Hw t slve the 9 dts puzzle?
      [Justificatin] Stimulate students’ interest and intrduce the tpic.
      Activity1: bserve and discuss
      Students bserve the unusual inventins.
      Q: What can yu see in each picture and what are they?
      Then discuss these questins in grups:
      Q: What is the purpse f each inventin?
      Q: Why is the inventin unusual?
      Make a cnclusin fr ways t creative thinking.
      [Justificatin] Encurage grup cllabratin, critical analysis and appreciatin fr riginality in prblem-slving.
      Activity2: analyze and brainstrm
      Students have an in-depth discussin abut ne f the inventins and try t explain hw it wrks and hw it can be used.
      Q: What is the giant shark-fin fastened arund the gldfish used fr?
      Q: What kind f prblem d yu think this inventin is trying t slve?
      Students chse ne f the ther inventins, and brainstrm reasns t explain hw and why the inventin is useful.
      Make a cnclusin fr steps t create an unusual inventin.
      [Justificatin] Practice prblem-slving and develp a deeper understanding f the innvatin prcess, preparing fr the subsequent design f student’s wn prducts.
      Activity3: brainstrm and create
      Students brainstrm sme ideas with the help f given questins and wrk in grups t create an unusual inventin.

      Q: What prblem is the inventin trying t slve?
      Q: What are the limitatins f traditinal slutin?
      Q: What is an unusual slutin?
      Q: Why is the inventin useful?
      [Justificatin] Thrugh divisin f labr and cperatin, students give full play t their respective strengths and cmplete inventin designs.
      Activity4: present and evaluate
      Situatin: If yu are at an Innvatin Exp, hw will yu advertise yur inventin?
      Students make a presentatin fr their inventin.
      Q: What makes a gd presentatin?
      Students assess their inventin and vte n the best inventin with the help f the evaluatin chart.
      [Justificatin] Imprve students’ assessment ability, help them enhance what they have learned in this class and prvide a platfrm fr students t share and learn mutually.
