Building up yur vcabulary:
Think f a wrd that best fits each definitin.
Cmplete the sentences with the crrect frms f the wrds frm the bx.

[design purpse] Thrugh reviewing the key wrds, filling in the blanks, students can build up their vcabulary and get mre familiar with the meaning and usage f the key wrds in Unit 2, which lays a fundatin fr further applicatin.
Applying the vcabulary
Replace the underlined parts with suitable phrase yu have learned in this unit.

During this prcess, students can easily find their shrtage in applying the key wrds, which is helpful fr them t d further practices. Especially imprtant is that they can fster an awareness f applying prper wrds in certain cntext, laying a slid fundatin fr extending their vcabulary in the next activity --- Newsflash.
