1 单元话题
本单元讨论的话题是一个新的开端：junir high schl life。
本单元是学生进入初中的第一个正式学习单元，junir high schl life这个话题完全是基于学生的实际情况。他们小学刚毕业，进入初中将开始面临学习和生活的新挑战。学习的要求、方法和内容，无论从量还是质上，都会发生很大的变化。通过本单元的学习，教师可以引导学生正确理解“初中学校生活 ”的主题意义，帮助他们认真思考自己应该如何适应初中学校生活，并为此做积极准备。
2 语篇内容
本单元围绕话题junir high schl life , 共设计了11个主要语篇，设计话题的启动产出和3个子话题：
(1) 教学启动: start f junir high
1“What d peple d n the first day f schl?”(多模态语篇)。语篇讨论不同国家的开学仪式或活动， 激发学生对新学校的兴趣。有关核心词汇 : visit the schl, play games, d team activities, give flwers, timetable, start lessns等。
² a table(多模态语篇，需学生完成)。这是开放性语篇，需要学生从I knw..., What I want t knw..., Hw I can find ut mre... 三方面进行思考，激活他们学校生活的图式，激发他们对于新的学校生活的向往。教师应该要求学生使用他们在小学阶段已学的词汇，如学科、校园、活动、人员等方面的词汇。
(2) 话题1: imprtant lessns at junir high
3“The first lessn”(书面语篇)。语篇讲述了难忘的开学第一课，告诉学生初中不同于小学，初中学习更需要独立思考，引导他们正确理解Learning withut thinking is f n use. 的意义。有关核心词汇: lear1ing withut thinking,be f n use, sentence, start t d, write dwn, pint ut, mistake, plite, jump int ne's
mind, think abut. meaning, in fact, junir high schl, imprtant, remember等。有关核心语法:人称代词和物主代词。
4 a diary (书面语篇，需学生补全)。语篇讲述了在初中第一堂课上遇到幽默、机智且善良的新老师，引导学生了解并适应初中老师的不同风格。有关核心语法: 人称代词和物主代词。
5 a cnversatin (口头语篇，需学生合作完成)。在对话中，学生交流各自的“初中第一堂课 ”，通过发现课堂上各种令人难忘的事情，对新的学校生活有进一步的认识。教师应该要求学生使用: ①前两个语篇中出现的核心词汇; ②第20页Useful expressins中的表达；③人称代词和物主代词。
(3) 子话题2: prblems and slutins at junir high
6 a radi prgramme(音频语篇)。这是一则广播通知，就新生进人初中遇到的最大挑战，即时间管理问题，学生会将组织一次讲座，分享解决办法。有关核心词汇: Students’ Unin, prblem, mre, activity, make gd use f, hld a talk等

7 a cnversatin(音频语篇)。内容涉及学生的时间管理问题，讨论如何按照任务的轻重缓急安排自己的时间等建议。有关核心词汇: prblem ，plan ，advice , task ，imprtant, prject, day by day等。
8 a cnversatin(口头语篇, 需学生合作完成)。学生选择一个自己进入初中阶段后规划学习时遇到的困难，通过对话探讨该如何积极面对，寻找解决办法。教师应该要求学生使用前面语篇中出现的核心词汇，尤其是生词。
(4) 子话题3: plans fr junir high
9“Befre yur jurney starts”(书面语篇)。这个语篇包括一段父母和女儿的对白，以及一封父母写给女儿的信。女儿刚刚升入初中, 父母和她分享了以下观点:进入初中后要学会独立，努力面对各种变化、困难和挑战。有关核心词汇: jurney, paper bat, pl, sail away, letter ， share thughts with, junir high ,be ready fr, life, primary schl, prtect, wind, river, face prblems, by yurself, try ne's best, wrk hard, pain, gain, g thrugh strms ，sea, hpe等。
10 a reply(书面语篇，需学生完成)。针对父母的信，学生扮演女儿，联系自己的实际，写一封回信。内容可以涉及: ①understanding f different schl life in junir high; ②challenges frm the new schl life; ③slutins t prblems。教师应该要求学生使用前面语篇中出现的核心词汇，尤其是生词。
(5) 教学产出: the first week at junir high
11 a pster(书面语篇+口头语篇，需学生完成)。这是本单元的综合性产出。语篇要求围绕单元话题junir high schl life, 以“My first week at junir high”为标题，叙述对初中学校生活的认识，内容包括前面所学的三个子话题。教师应该要求学生使用:
①本单元出现的核心词汇尤其是生词; ②人称代词和物主代词。
学情分析
教师通过学生完成的以下任务单发现：大部分学生通过观看视频可以准确表格内容。部分学生他们完成有误，所以他们对人称代词和物主代词还是有所了解的。但是调查问卷的数据显示大部分学生表达能力欠佳，单词拼写不准确，词汇量不足，语言结构不准确等问题。说明提高阅读能力需要扩大学生词汇量，培养良好的学习习惯。
除此之外，通过教师平时的观察发现：七年级学生思维比较活跃，也敢于大胆发言，但是缺乏学习的内驱力，积极性欠缺。比较依赖家长和老师的督促
。
与此同时，他们对初中英语更多的是迷茫与担忧，他们迫切需要好的学习方法的指导，所以本节课的学习对他们今后的英语学习起到至关重要的作用。
在教学中教师应该设计多样化的教学活动和评价方式，充分发挥智慧课堂
的互动功能，挖掘学生的思维潜能，启发他们学思并行，养成良好的学习习惯
。
教学目标
1. 学生能够理解作者第一节英语课上发生的事；
2. 学生能够理解并应用本节课的核心词汇；
3. 学生能够理解孔子的名言，并应用到平时生活和学习中；
4. 感知不同的学习品质，启发学生学思结合；
5. 感知人称代词和物主代词的功能。
6. 学生能够介绍自己初中的第一节课和上课的老师，并完成一小段对话。

重点：理解故事内容，感知并理解作者行为及情感的变化。
难点：孔子的谚语“学而不思则罔”，学会学思结合，并接纳初中学习生活的变化。

课程完成度比较完整，学生积极发言。但是活动的设计与难度层次还有待完善，教学活动基本上都是学生作答，缺少结对合作和小组合作等多样化的学习方式。学生基础比较薄弱，对新单词的教学和重点知识的教学还需帮助学生进一步巩固与内化，除此之外，本节课没有应用到文章的音频或视频资源，缺乏原汁原味的英文感受。
借助智慧课堂平板，学生上课积极性、专注度和参与度普遍提高，也提高了上课效率。教师以后应该多使用它的一些其他的功能比如：分组作答、投票等，以进一步提高课堂效率，增强师生互动的频率和效果。
除此之外，教师自身的语言素养还有待提高。
