Step 1 Warming - up
Greet the students as usual: “Gd mrning/afternn, class! Hw are yu tday?”

Step 2Revisin
Review the wrds f schl things and pssessive prnuns learned in Sectin A. Play a quick - respnse game. Shw pictures f schl things n the PPT quickly, and students call ut the English wrds and their crrespnding pssessive prnuns. Fr example, when shwing a picture f a pencil, students say “pencil, mine/yurs/his/hers”.
Review the sentence patterns fr asking abut wnership. Chse sme items in the classrm (with permissin) and ask students questins like “Is this yur eraser? Are these yur bks?”引导学生用 the crrect frms 回答。
Step 3 Presentatin
New Wrds Teaching
Shw pictures f new items ne by ne n the PPT: baseball, watch, cmputer game, ID card, ntebk, ring, bag. Read the wrds alud, stressing the crrect prnunciatin, and let students repeat. Fr example, when teaching “baseball”, shw a picture f a baseball game and say, “This is a baseball. We play baseball with a bat.”
D sme wrd - learning activities. Fr instance, play a wrd - matching game. Write the new wrds n ne set f cards and draw the crrespnding items n anther set, and ask students t match them in pairs.
Sentence Pattern Review and Extensin
Review the sentence patterns “Is this/that Are these/thse ” by using the new items. Hld up a watch and ask, “Is this yur watch?” Then intrduce the new sentence pattern “Hw d yu spell it?” Use an ID card as an example. Pint t the ID card and ask a student, “What's this?” After the student answers, ask, “Hw d yu spell it?” Teach the student t answer, “I - D, ID; C - A - R - D, card.”

Step 4Pre - listening
Wrk n 1a. Let students lk at the pictures in 1a n page 15 f the textbk. Ask them t match the wrds with the things in the pictures.
Check the answers tgether. Then, ask students t discuss in pairs: “If yu lst ne f these things, what infrmatin wuld yu need t prvide when asking fr it back?”
Step 5While - listening
1b Listening
Tell students they will listen t a cnversatin between a by and a girl in the lst - and - fund ffice. Befre listening, let them lk at the pictures in 1b and predict what items they will hear.
Play the recrding fr the first time. Students listen and circle the things they hear.
Play the recrding again. This time, students listen carefully and pay attentin t the prnunciatin and intnatin, especially the spelling parts. Check the answers tgether.
1c & 1d Listening
Let students lk at the blanks in 1c. Explain that they will listen t tw mre cnversatins and fill in the blanks.
Play the recrding fr the first time. Students listen and try t fill in sme f the blanks.
Play the recrding again. Students cmplete the blanks.
After that, let students wrk in pairs t practice reading the cnversatins in 1d accrding t the filled - in infrmatin. Then, check the answers by asking several pairs t read the cnversatins alud.
Step 6 Pst - listening
Pair Wrk
Ask students t wrk in pairs. One student acts as the persn wh lst smething, and the ther acts as the persn in the lst - and - fund ffice. They use the cnversatins in 1b - 1d as examples t create a new cnversatin. They can chse any f the items in 1a r ther things they can think f. Walk arund the classrm t ffer help and guidance.
After a few minutes, ask several pairs t cme t the frnt f the class and act ut their cnversatins.
Grup Wrk
Divide the students int grups f fur. Each grup creates a shrt skit abut a mre cmplex lst - and - fund situatin, such as multiple peple cming t the lst - and - fund ffice at the same time, r the item being a very unusual ne. They need t use the target language, including asking abut wnership, spelling the item name, and s n.
Select ne r tw grups t perfrm their skits fr the whle class. After the perfrmance, let ther students give cmments and ask questins.
Step 7Writing
Shw a sample lst ntice n the PPT. Analyze the structure and key elements f a lst ntice, including what was lst, when and where it was lst, and hw t cntact the wner.
Let students write a lst ntice fr ne f their lst items (real r imagined). They can use the new wrds and sentence patterns they have learned.
After they finish writing, ask them t share their ntices in grups. Grup members can give suggestins and help t imprve the ntices. Then, select sme gd examples t share with the whle class.
Step 8 Summary
Summarize the new wrds and sentence patterns learned in this class with the students. Write the key pints n the blackbard again, including the new wrds related t lst items, the sentence patterns fr asking abut wnership and spelling, and the structure f a lst ntice.
Ask students t share what they have learned and what they think is the mst difficult part in this class.
Step 9: Hmewrk (布置作业环节)
Ask students t write a fund ntice. They can imagine they fund an item and write the ntice with all the necessary infrmatin.
Encurage students t pay attentin t the lst and fund ntices in real life (if there are any in their schl r cmmunity) and try t read and understand them in English.
