【重点语法】：形容词、副词的最高级
（一）构成
1、规则变化
直接加 - est：
tall → tallest；fast → fastest
以不发音的字母 e 结尾的词：直接加 - st：
late → latest；clse → clsest
以“辅音字母 + y” 结尾的双音节词：变 y 为 i，再加 - est：
busy → busiest；happy → happiest
以重读闭音节结尾，且末尾只有一个辅音字母的词：双写该辅音字母，再加 - est：
big → biggest；ht → httest
多音节单词和部分双音节单词：在前面加 mst：
beautiful → mst beautiful；imprtant → mst imprtant
2、不规则变化
gd/well → better → best
bad/ill → wrse → wrst
many/much → mre → mst
little → less → least
far → farther/further → farthest/furthest

（二）标志词
1、形容词最高级前通常要加定冠词 the；副词最高级前面的 the 可以省略。
she is the tallest girl in the class.（她是班里最高的女孩。）
he runs fastest in the team.（他在队里跑得最快。）
2、最高级前面可用序数词或副词修饰，表示程度。
this is the secnd largest city in the cuntry.（这是该国第二大城市。）

（三）用法
包含形容词、副词最高级的基本结构为“主语 + 谓语 + the + 形容词或副词最高级 + 比较范围.”。形容词和副词最高级常出现在以下结构中：
1、wh/which + 谓语（+ the）+ 最高级，a, b r c?
which is the mst expensive, the car, the bike r the mtrcycle?（汽车、自行车和摩托车，哪个最贵？）
2、“ne f + the + 形容词最高级 + 可数名词复数”
he is ne f the mst hard - wrking students in the class.（他是班里最勤奋的学生之一。）
（四）比较范围
最高级通常有一个比较范围，一般用介词 f 或 in。f 后常跟表示一群人或事物的名词或代词；in 后一般跟表示单位或场所的名词。
he is the best player f the team.（他是队里最好的球员。）；she is the mst ppular teacher in the schl.（她是学校里最受欢迎的老师。）
（五）用形容词和副词的比较级形式表达最高级含义
1、形容词 / 副词比较级 + than + any ther + 可数名词单数
she is taller than any ther student in her class.（她比班里其他任何学生都高。）
2、形容词 / 副词比较级 + than + the ther + 可数名词复数
he is strnger than the ther bys in the schl.（他比学校里其他男孩都强壮。）
