What: 本课时内容主要分为两部分，第一部分为阅读训练，主要语篇是Peter写给Flra的回复邮件。Peter在邮件中介绍了自己的新学校，还谈论了自己喜欢的校内场所，并说明了原因。第二部分为写作训练，让学生记录相关要点，准备语言信息，并提供邮件写作的基本结构。
Why: 第一部分通过介绍Peter的新学校，进一步熟悉如何介绍学校的目标语言，并熟悉邮件写作的格式，与学生的现实生活紧密相关。第二部分在总结总结有关介绍学校语言的基础上，训练学生的写作能力，增强学生的语言输出与表达。
Hw: 邮件内容Peter先对自己的学校进行总体评价引入有关评价的单词，great、beautiful、mdern；再重点介绍学校的三个场所包括场所的位置、学生活动及自己喜欢这些场所的原因，复习了用方位介词来表达位置的句型，介绍了像d exercises、raise the flag、spend mst f ur classrm in ur classrm、change seats等学校活动语言，通过对食堂的描述引入Because引导的原因状语从句来表述自己喜欢食堂的原因，使整篇文章的语言更丰富。在邮件的末尾，Peter也用hw abut句型，询问对方的学校状况。写作练习中通过引导学生记录关键词句，使学生明白学校的写作内容有哪些，通过给出范文模版，降低学生的写作难度。

四、教学重难点
重点：1.能够通过快速阅读了解电子邮件的内容大意，推断作者写回信的主要目的
2.能够根据语篇中的各类形容词推断作者的情感态度，并能够用这些形容词描述自己的学校
难点：能够模仿课文的结构和语言给朋友写一封电子邮件，介绍自己的校园。

Step 1 Lead in.
