【原文】 Hi everyne. I’m a bird researcher. Peple ften ask me hw I gt interested in birds. Actually, when I was a kid, I spent much time utdrs. My family ften went camping, and I had many science bks abut animals that I liked t read. But what truly sparked my passin was a nature dcumentary I watched ne evening — it shwed birds migrating acrss the glbe, and I was cmpletely amazed. When I went t university, I first chse chemistry, thinking it was a practical majr. But after ne year, I realized my heart wasn’t in it, s I switched t eclgy. Nwadays, I fcus n studying hw light pllutin affects birds’ migratin. It’s an urgent issue, s recently I’ve been spending a lt f time designing a field study t track their nighttime activity in cities. This invlves a lt f preparatin, and eventually I’ll need t write a reprt n the study. In my free time, I like talking with lcal birdwatchers. Their bservatins are incredibly helpful fr my research.

      66. Hi, Chris! Glad t knw that yu are interested in Chinese electric cars.
I think that electric cars are ppular in China mainly due t rapid technlgical prgress and strng plicy supprt. Breakthrughs in battery life and charging speed have slved the “range anxiety” prblem, while the gvernment’s subsidies and tax cuts lwer the purchase cst. Additinally, the widespread cnstructin f charging piles makes recharging as cnvenient as refueling.
In my view, this trend is highly psitive. It nt nly reduces urban air pllutin, but als demnstrates China’s leadership in the glbal green transitin. With cntinuus innvatin, electric vehicles will undubtedly shape the future f mbility in China and beynd.
67.My mther, wh had been watching frm the windw, came t my rescue. She knelt dwn beside me, kissed me n the cheek, and wiped away the tears, saying, “We had better get busy if we are ging t get this special cake t yur uncle n time.” I lked at her with skepticism, but she just smiled and began carefully picking up the pieces f cake. She tk them int the kitchen and began wrking her magic. With the skill f an artist, she mlded the cake back tgether. Seeing the perfectly restred cake, I gave her a big hug and was nce again n my way.
I arrived at my uncle’s huse n time, with my cake still perfect. I was brimming with lve and pride as I presented my uncle with his cake and sang “Happy Birthday” t him. My uncle, having heard what had happened, prclaimed it t be the mst beautiful birthday cake ever made. As he finished the last bite, he said, “That was the mst delicius cake I have ever eaten!” Then he prceeded t g n and n abut what a great ck I was. I was verjyed, believing the pwer f lve culd d anything!题号
