She reminded us that Spanish wasn’t just a language. It was a gift.       My early relatinship with envirnmentalism was frmed thrugh small mments. I didn’t grw up ging n nature hikes r camping trips. I grew up falling in lve with the Discvery Channel and Nat Ge, studying animals and ecsystems I had never tuched. I saw bilgists, cnservatinists, and envirnmental strytellers n screen. I admired them. I quietly dreamed f ding what they did. But a part f me believed I culd never d that. I wasn’t smart enugh.
