教学难点:Students may find it hard t write the cntinuatin writing by using what we have learned reasnably.

Step I:Warming up
Activity1: Invite students t play a game tgether. First , ask students t raise their tw fists,and clap tgether ,and then ask them what’s their feeling?Next,ask students t raise a fist and a palm, and clap and then ask their feeling ?Finally,ask them raise their tw palms,and clap, and then ask their feeling.
Purpse: t let students invvled in the class quickly and lead-in the tpic f this class.
Activity 2:
Task 1:Ask students t find the similarity in the last three years Cllege Entrance Exams cntinuatin writings.
Purpse: Stress the imprtance n the theme “Human and Self ” in CEE cntinuatin writing.
Task 2:Tell students Big Cncepts in this unit and ask them what we have learnt in this mdule.
Purpse: Let students have a general idea f what we learned in this unit and use the knwledge t slve the prblems n “Human and Self”.
Step II: Cnslidatin (5mins)
Task 1: Let students d sme exercises abut hw t describe a persn.
Task 2: Have students t think hw can we describe a persn frm different aspects.
Purpse:Expand students’ thinking that they can describe a persn frm different aspects in cntinuatin writing.
Task3. Ask students hw t reslve cnflicts by cnnect with Bk 1 Unit 3.
Purpse:Let students cnnect what we learned befre and use the knwledge t slve the cnflicts.
Step III:Befre writing (13 mins)
Task 1(8 mins): Have students read passage and analyze the characters and plts f the passage
Purpse:Help students get the main idea f the passage and grasp the imprtant infrmatin.
Task 2(5 mins): Have students discuss with their grup members t figure ut cntent f the cntinuatin parts.
Purpse:Guide students hw t cnstruct their cntinuatin writing by giving sme key pints.
Step IV:While writing (15 mins)
Shw students the basic clues f the tw cntinuatin Paras.
Prpse:Put what we have learnt int practice and give students enugh time t think and write by themselves.
Step V:After writing (9 mins)
Task 1 (6 mins):Ask 1-2 students t share their wrks.Then Find ther students t make a cmment n the wrk.Teacher make cmments.Let students have a self-evaluatin.
Purpse:Let students check whether they meet the standard f a gd cntinuatin fr further imprvement.
Task 2 ( 3 mins ): Play a vide abut this tpic,and the ask students t share their pinins.
Purpse:Stimulate the theme f this unit,and raise students awareness f happy relatinship and psitive cnflicts slving.
