the ther一定范围内或两个人（物）中，特指剩下的“另一个” 用 the ther(可接单数可数名词)，特指“剩下的那些”，用 the ther+复数可数名词。e.g. I have tw brthers. One is a dctr, the ther is a teacher. 我有两个哥哥，一个是医生，另一个是教师。
the thers 表示在一个范围内的其他全部， the thers=the ther+复数可数名词。e.g. This dictinary is better than the thers/the ther dictinaries. 这本字典比其他的好。 He started t applaud and the thers jined in. 他开始鼓掌，其他人也跟着鼓起掌来。
thers 指别的人或物时，即当在一定范围内，除去一部分后，剩余部分但不是全部时，也用thers。如：e.g. Sme cleaned the windws, thers swept the flr. 有的擦窗户，有的扫地。 What is right fr us need nt be right fr thers. 对我们来说是对的东西，对别人来说未必正确。

【一般疑问句结构】Is/ Are + 主语 +…? 【肯定回答】Yes, there is/are. 【否定回答】N, there isn’t/aren’t. e.g. Is there a restaurant near here? 这附近有餐馆吗？ Are there any students in the classrm? 教室里有学生吗？【一般疑问句结构】由“特殊疑问词＋is/are＋there＋地点状语”构成，有时地点状语可省略。答语不能用Yes或N，需根据情况直接回答。e.g.—Hw many apples are there in the bag？包里有多少苹果？ —Five. 五个。
