动词不定式作宾语补足语
在上一个单元，我们学习了动词不定式作宾语的功能，那么，动词不定式的语法功能还有哪些呢?首先请看下面的句子：She asked her rmmate t turn dwn the music.她请室友把音乐关小一些。The Wrld Wide Fund fr Nature (VWF) chse the panda t beits symbl. 世界自然基金会选择了大熊猫(形象)作为其标志。
通过以上句子，我们可以发现动词不定式的另外一种语法功能:在“动词+宾语+动词不定式”的结构中充当宾语的补足语。以上例句中的不定式都作宾语补足语，是对宾语的补充说明。例如句子(1)中her rmmate作ask的宾语，t turn dwn the music作宾语her rmmate的补足语。
可以用于"动词+宾语+动词不定式"这一结构的动词有很多，常见的有：want, tell, ask, invite, help, allw, chse等。They want the prject t be finished by Friday.他们希望项目周五前完成。The teacher asked the students t hand in their hmewrk.老师让学生们交作业。
