Ask students to observe the pictures and say the words as soon as possible. Step 2:Lead in  Ask students to discuss the question:Have you ever had a picnic with your family?Show some pictures of corner stores and explain it to students. Make they understand what a picnic is. 2.Ask students to discuss the question:What do we need for a picnic?Ask one student to give his or her answer. Then show the correct answer. Observe the pictures and say the words as soon as possible.   Discuss the questions and try to give answers. 复习前一课所学的单词。       让学生自由讨论,引入话题。讲授新课Step 1:Learn new words1.Show the pictures of the new words. Ask students try to remember the new words.2.Play a game. Match each word with its Chinese meaning. Step 2:Learn the text 1.Listen to the tape of the text and know about the main points of the lesson.2.Learn the language points Step 3:Listen and answerListen to the passage and answer the following questions(1)Where are Jenny and her family?(2)Who is carrying a big basket of food?(3)Whats Jennys mum doing?(4)Who is making sandwiches?Finish the task in class orally. Step 4:Read and learnRead the sentences and learn about present participle. Step 5:Look and sayLook at the pictures and complete the dialogues. Step 6:Pair workTake a picture of you and your family to school.Talk about it with your deskmate. Step 7:Come to Lets do it1.Listen to the tape and finish Exercise 1 together.2.Ask the students to finish Exercise 2 by themselves.Then check the answers.3.Work in pairs. Look at the pictures in this lesson and talk about them. 4.What do you and your family like to do together? Draw or bring a picture of your family. Talk about it in groups and write a short passage. Step 8:PracticeFinish the exercise by themselves.Then check the answers. Step 9:Homework1.What do you and your family like to do together?
