Reflexive pronounsWe use a reflexive pronoun as the object to refer back to the subject of a sentence.We can also use a reflexive pronoun to emphasize that someone does something without help.The form of reflexive pronouns.Look at the pictures below and fill in the blanks with the correct reflexive pronouns.Step 2. Grammar反身代词的用法反身代词与它所指代的名词或代词形成互指关系,在人称、性别、数上保持一致。在句中一般作宾语、表语、同位语,不可单独作主语。1 作动词或介词的宾语:You shouldn’t leave the child by himself at home.2 作表语:I am not feeling myself today.3 作同位语时,译为“本人、本身、自己、亲自”:Mary herself opened the door.反身代词的易错点1 反身代词不能单独作主语,但可以作主语的同位语,起强调作用。 (误)Myself can finish my homework. (正)I myself can finish my homework.2 反身代词表示“某人自己”,不能表示“某人的东西”因为它没有所有格的形式。表达“某人自己的(东西)”时,须用one’s own. (误)I am drawing with myself crayons. (正)I am drawing with my own crayons.Step 3.
