Mek is a tree-ring expert and studies the influence f rainfall n wd layers (层). Each year, a tree adds a new layer f wd. These layers lk like a series f rings, which are called tree rings. During times f heavy rainfall, a ring is wide. When there is a shrtage f water, a ring is narrw. These rings are nature’s recrd f rainfall and climate change.
