Eighteen kinds f clthes were made frm recycled plastic bttles. “We realized that billins f water bttles are thrwn in the cean every year and they wuld take hundreds f years t break dwn. We shuld use them t d smething meaningful t help the envirnment,” said Alia Juma, the cmpany’s designer. “5 bttles can make a shirt, 10 a dress and 20 a shrt cat.”
Many ther clthing cmpanies are finding similar ways t save ur planet these days. The prcess is rather simple. First, the plastic bttles are washed and cut int small pieces.
