Think f it as the warm-up befre a wrkut — it helps us ease int deeper cnversatins and establishes a fundatin f trust and understanding. It lays the grundwrk fr assessing whether the exchange has the ptential t cultivate a friendship r deeper cnnectin. Even ne-ff exchanges with smene at the grcery stre r at the bus stp ffer pprtunities fr cnnectin.
But ur aversin (厌恶) t small talk is significant. We may cnvince urselves that we’re nt gd at it r that it’s unnecessary, but that’s simply an excuse.
