学完本节课，学生能够
正确识别农场常见动物的英文名称，并能正确描述它们的大小、数量和颜色。
根据阅读语篇和插图内容梳理出农场介绍的叙事结构，准确获取所需的细节信息。
运用本单元所学目标语言，通过转述第三人称的方式描写图片中的农场。
教学流程
Step 1.Pre-reading
1.Lead in
Grandpa Fu has a small yard. It is very beautiful. In the yard, he has many kinds f animals and plants. D yu remember what he has in his yard?
2.Shw the picture and ask students t talk abut the things in the picture.
What kind f place is it?(A farm)
What can yu see n the farm?
Hw many f each f them can yu see?
What clr are they?
What d yu think f this farm?
3.Ask students t lk at the picture and tick√ the things they see.
设计思路：
首先由富兴爷爷的农家小院引导学生复习农家动物、植物名称，然后引入本课农场话题。接着出示问题链引导学生观察、谈论图片内容，完成阅读前勾选任务。这一块儿教材出示的不是单词，而是由数量、颜色、形状、名称等词汇构成的词块，这样的词块知识呈现不仅可以帮助学生更好地构建句子和段落，提高写作的流畅性和准确性，还可以提高学生的语言表达能力，加深他们对英语语言结构的理解。所以在下一节课的复习环节可以考查这部分的词块短语。
Step 2. While-reading(1b)
1.Read the instructins and then ask students:

2.Ask students t read the text in 1b and circle the things he talked abut in the picture in 1a.

3.Have students read the text again and fill in the chart. They ask students t cmplete the sentences in 1c.
这里强调一下，图片中三类事物名词的数量和颜色需要学生错开填写，即在事物后填写对应的数量和颜色。

5.Have several students read the text.
设计思路：
读中环节主要以学生不同形式的读为主，分为默读和大声读，最后的朗读环节给学生提供了评价表，鼓励学生从不同维度进行评价，清晰正确、专注度、重读和语气等方面；评价方包含学生自评、学生互评和教师评价；分为三个评价等级，很棒为三颗星，好为两颗星，需要努力为一颗星。古人云：书读百遍，其义自见。在多形式、多次数的朗读中学生对句子意思就会有自己的理解。

设计思路：
读后的短语理解活动我采用了填空的形式，如果学生理解短语的意思，那么在语境中他就可以填写正确。根据布卢姆提出的认知理论，学生的认知思维过程由低到高分别是记忆、理解、应用、综合、评价和创造六个层次。到了应用这个环节，学生也就已经达成了记忆和理解的层次。当然填空的形式只达到应用的初级水平，还需要在后续的学习中增加复现率，加深记忆。
