【用法】 ① fllw v. 意为“遵守,遵循;听从;效仿”,固定搭配:fllw the rules 遵守规则; fllw ne’s advice 听从某人的建议; fllw ne’s example 以某人为榜样。
【用法】 ② fllw 作动词,还可意为“跟随,跟上”,是及物动词,后跟名词或代词。固定搭配:fllw sb./sth. 跟随某人/ 某物; fllw sb. t d sth. 跟随某人做某事。
③ fllw 还可意为“理解,明白”。 fllw sb. 明白某人的意思。
④ fllw 还可作不及物动词, fllw behind 跟在后面。

【用法】 plite adj. 意为“有礼貌的”,可以修饰名词或作表语。常用短语:be plite t sb. 对某人有礼貌句型:It’s plite (f sb.) t d sth. (某人) 做某事有礼貌。副词形式为 plitely,意为“礼貌地”,用来修饰动词或整句话。名词形式为 pliteness,意为“礼貌”。反义词为 implite,意为“不礼貌的;粗鲁的”。

② treat 作动词,还可意为“把……看作”。 treat sb./sth. as... 把某人/ 某物看作……。
【用法】 ③ treat 还可作名词,意为 “款待”。give sb. a treat 款待某人。My treat. 我请客。(常用于口语) Trick r treat. 不给糖就捣蛋。
