The study in The Jurnal Science fund that dlphins make an pen-muthed expressin, like a “smile”, during play. Researchers frm Italy and France watched 22 dlphins in France. They watched the dlphins play with each ther, with their human trainers, and alne.
The scientists fund that dlphins “smiled” almst always when in their playmates’ view, and their playmates “smiled” back abut ne-third f the time. This suggests it is a frm f cmmunicatin. By “smiling” at each ther, dlphins may stp their games frm turning int real fights because f misunderstandings.
