3.情感态度与价值观
引导学生要理解父母，而良好的理解基于有一个好的沟通，所以要和父母亲多沟通，父母亲也要抽时间和子女多沟通，父母亲和孩子是彼此最好的礼物。

教学过程
Stage 1 Warming-up
1.学生观看一则影片片段，并回答：wh are they? 导出“留守儿童”这一话题。
2.通过呈现留守儿童的图片和李文的图片，引导学生猜测李文可能碰到的问题，李文的感受，以及李文的个性。
3.根据题目“He studies harder than he used t”猜测文章接下来会如何展开？李文是如何改变的？李文为什么会产生这些改变？同时教授学生阅读策略，即图片和标题能帮助我们猜测文章大意。
Stage 2 Skimming
1.泛读文章，并利用上下文把缺漏的句子放到空白处。
2.教师分段依次讲解每段空格句子，及解题思路。
Stage 3 Scanning
1.读文章第一段，填写Li Wen’s backgrund card.并追问学生why did he use t have difficulties?
2.读文章第二段，填写表格，根据previus schl 和 barding schl找出相对应的prblems.最后得出结论, things didn’t get better after his parents sent him t the barding schl.
3.阅读文章第三至四段，找出李文现在的feelings, persnalities以及behavirs分别是怎样的，给学生展示前几段文章段落，找出谈话前李文的feelings, persnalities以及behavirs又是怎样的？
4.引导学生深入分析文本，关于为什么李文会有如此之大的变化？找出相应的语句。带领学生总结，是因为parents’ lve, mre cmmunicatin.
5.分析文章最后一句话,“It’s very imprtant fr parents t be there fr their children.”的含义，以及如何理解”be there”. 同时进行情感的升华：Understanding depends n gd cmmunicatin! Parents and children are the best gifts fr each ther!
Stage 4 Pst-reading
1.完成2e. Cmplete the passage with the prper frms f the wrds and phrases in the bx.
2.编对话并分角色扮演，What d yu think Li Wen and his parents talked abut in their cnversatin? Write a cnversatin and rle-play it with yur grup. Think f the fllwing things: (1)Pssible questins Li Wen might ask his parents. (2)Questins his parents might ask Li Wen. (3) Pssible answers frm Li Wen and his parents. 并给出学生对话中可能会用到的句子以及让学生观看example vide。
