Hell! My name is Su Bingtian, and I am a sprinter(短跑运动员) frm China. When I was yung, I lved running. I jined the Guangdng track team(广东田径队) when I was a teenager. Befre I became famus, I trained very hard every day. I wanted t be the fastest man in Asia. After I practiced fr many years, I finally ran 100 meters in under 10 secnds. That was in 2015. I was the first Chinese sprinter t d this! As I cntinued t train, I imprved my speed. In 2021, at the Tky Olympics, I ran 100 meters in 9.83 secnds. That was a new Asian recrd! While I was running in the Olympics, I felt very prud. I became the first Chinese athlete t reach the men’s 100-meter final. As sn as I finished the race, I thanked my caches and fans. Their supprt helped me a lt.Nw, I help yung athletes in China. I want t teach them everything I have learned.

What is an adverbial clause f time?
An adverb clause f time shws when smething happens. It is usually intrduced by time adverbs. Examples are: befre, after, as, when, while, until, as sn as, as lng as etc. Nte that all adverb clauses are subrdinate clauses. They cannt stand n their wn and must be attached t an independent clause.

When/While/As
延续性动词:表示动作可以持续一段时间。如read,watch,sing。短暂性动词:表示动作瞬间完成,无法持续。如die,begin,buy。
如果主句表示的是短暂性动作,而从句是延续性动词的进行时态,表示在一段时间内正在进行的动作,此时 when、while 与 as 可互换使用。
when 引导的从句中,谓语动词用延续性动词或非延续性动词均可;可用于从句动作和主句动作同时发生,也可用于从句动作发生在主句动作之前。

while 强调两个动作同时发生或在一个动作发生的过程中另一个动作发生,从句中的谓语动词必须是延续性动词。
as 可表示从句和主句的两个动作交替进行、接连发生或同时发生,或在一个动作发生的过程中另一个动作发生,可译为“一边……,一边……”或“随着……”。
befre意为“在……之前”,表示主句动作发生在从句动作之前。after意为“在……之后”,表示主句动作发生在从句动作之后。

表示主句的动作到从句表示的时间点才开始。可译为“直到……才……”。

时间状语从句是复合句中的一种从句,它通常由时间状语从句引导词引导,并在主句中充当时间状语,用来说明主句动作或状态发生的时间。时间状语从句有自己的主语和谓语结构,但它在句子中不能独立成句,要和主句一起构成一个完整的句子。
