Unit6 At One with Nature Using Language ：Grammar 倒装句的探索之旅 教学设计

教学目标

1. 学生通过比较归纳，掌握倒装句类型；

2. 学生通过练习，能够正确分辨全部倒装和部分倒装；改写陈述句为倒装句。

3. 学生通过思考理解倒装句奇妙之处，理解倒装句的含义；陈述句倒装句的不同。

4. 学生通过观察，模仿和表演，从笔头和口头巩固倒装句的学习。

5.学生能够结合倒装句和新冠相关词汇学习，创编对话。

教学重点

引导学生观察句组，归纳总结出全部倒装和部分倒装的特点。

教学难点

引导学生改写新冠话题聊天中的陈述句为倒装句并角色扮演，培养归纳语法能力，和创编对话能力。

Activity 1

1. T show Ss the Wechat chat records of the COVID-19.

2. T asks Ss to observe the two inverted sentences in the dialogues

Ss observe the two sentences and try to find the positions of subjects and predicates in the two sentences have changed.

Arouse the interests of Ss ; lead to the topic and guide Ss to explore the speciality of inverted sentence.

Activity 2

T show Ss “What is inverted Sentence” by

comparing it with the decelerative sentence. 

Ss understand the sentence structure and

the definition of inverted sentence

Help Ss understand the meaning and function of inverted sentence.

Activity 3

1. T show Ss a group of full inversion sentences and a group of partial inversion sentences.

2. T asks some Ss to find out the subject and predicate in each sentence.

3.T present Ss the full inversion and partial inversion.

1. Ss observe and find out the subject and predicate in each sentence. 2. Ss summarize the common point in the position of predicates and subjects.

Guide Ss to master the 2 forms of inverted sentence: full-version and partial inversion.

Activity 4

1. T asks Ss to  distinguish full inversion and partial inversion. (Exercise 1)

Check whether Ss has clearly distinguished the two forms of inverted sentences o not.

Activity 5

1. T show Ss the sentence “If I were you, I might not be able to say a word!”

2. T guide Ss to analyze the sentence and change it into the inverted sentence.

1. Ss rewrite the sentence

Deepen Ss’ understanding of the inverted sentence and cultivate their ability to rewrite declarative sentences into inverted sentence.

Homework

1.T show the further Wechat records of the COVID-19 which include many potential inverted sentences.

2.T asks Ss to observe the example sentences in the homework sheet and change declarative sentences in the above dialogues into inverted sentences by imitation.

2. Ss create the adapted dialogues and perform the dialogues with desmate ; self-evaluate their performance.

Consolidate the knowledge of target grammar; help Ss to product the learning outcomes both by imitating and performing.
