学情分析：
在学习过去时之前，学生比较系统地学习了一般现在时、现在进行时和一般将来时，大部分学生都懂得“通过变化动词的形式来表示不同的时态”的道理，并对英语的时态有一定程度的感性认识，但也有一部分学生对“什么是动词”，“什么是时态”等问题感到困惑。在这个基础上，经过学习，前一类学生能较好地掌握过去时的构成和简单应用，而后一类学生的完全掌握则有待于日后的继续学习。
重点难点：
1.对不规则动词过去式的记忆
2.正确地运用过去时来表达发生在过去某一时间的事情并能与其它时态区别应用；
教学目标：
语言知识：
归纳动词过去式变化常见的五种形式；复习、操练和巩固一般过去式，并能在具体练习中正确运用过去式。
语言技能：
大多数学生能正确地运用过去时表达已经发生或过去的事情。
学习策略：
参与式，互动式，讨论式，情景模拟
情感态度：
通过对过去时的学习提高学生英语学习的求知欲。

一、 Warming up
T: Good morning, boys and girls. Nice to meet you. I’m happy to be here today. And I hope we have a good time. Okay, now let’s begin our class. Please look at the big
screen. Today we are going to review the simple past tense.
游戏引入再现知识点。
1. Assign the tasks.
T: Look, this is a big bad wolf. And the wolf wants to eat the goats. Can we let him
eat the 3 goats?
Ss: No.
T: Let’s help the goats. We should pass the 5 tasks to help them. Are you ready?
Let’s go!
Task 1: Find out the past time.
T: Now find the simple past tense. Which one?
T: Why?
T: Because we see the time that expresses the past. And here are some past verbs, too.
T: Can you find out the past time?
T: If you find some, raise your hands.
T: Let’s see. We find so many past time. Read after me.
(设计意图：通过第一关，以游戏的形式复习有关于过去式的时间词，突破时间的难点)
Task 2: Find out the past verbs.
T: The second task is to find out the past verbs.
(设计意图： 六年级下册三单元侧重于将来时，四单元侧重于过去式，本环节将重点区分这两种时态，通过第二关来复习有关于过去式的重点动词，逐级深入)
T: I say the word out, if it is the past verb, please stand up and say it loudly. If not,
just sit well.
Task 3: Fill in the blanks and choose the pictures.
T: We have an exercise paper. Please write your answers on the paper.
(设计意图：充分理解一般过去式的情境，在情境中理解一般过去时的使用)
Task 4: Do you have a good memory?
T: We learned the past verbs in Grade 5 and Grade 6.
Do you still remember them? Let’s see who has a good memory.
If you know the past verb, stand up and say it loudly. T: Can you spell it?
(设计意图：通过学生答题环节，来复习过去式的特殊变化)
Task 5:What did you find?
T: We come to the last task. Come on, everyone.
T: We have learned so many past verbs. Try to find some rules.
T: Who can read for us?
（设计意图：六年级下半年，学生应该有能力来初步对动词变化进行简单的总结）
