As I grew lder, my interest in radi grew. One day I learnt abut Internet radi. Once a week, I played my favurite music frm my father’s cmputer, talked abut life at schl, and hped smene might be listening.
    Sn my friends at schl started t listen, and then they wanted t help. We prepared a prgramme nce a week, ding research by reading articles abut music and sprts news. We als did research fr jkes and the weather reprt (I did this by lking ut f the windw). “OK, cme with me,” the manager said. I sat dwn in the studi. He was in anther rm, behind a glass wall.
    “OK, let’s d a sund check. Just tell me what yu had fr breakfast.” All radi presenters need t answer the same questin befre they begin wrk. The purpse is t check the sund level. “I had eggs, fruit and sme milk.” “OK, that’s great!” The man behind the glass said. This was hw my first real jb in radi began.

    The radi manager lked dwn at me. lk dwn at sb. 意为“低头看着某人”。 例:He lked dwn at her and smiled gently. 他低头看着她,温柔地笑着。【链接】lk dwn n/upn sb.意为“看不起某人”。 例:Dn't lk dwn n thers. 不要看不起别人。

    And yu want a jb in radi? 陈述句用升调就变成了问句, 这种问句称为陈述疑问句。朗读时句尾应该读升调。例:The train is in already? 火车已经进站了? He hasn’t gt my letter? 他还没有收到我的信?

    5. It seemed that they were speaking nt t lts f listeners but t me in persn. It seems that + 从句 表示“看起来似乎……”; seem 后面可接形容词、 不定式、从句。例: It seems that he is very happy t get the bk. 他得到这本书好像很高兴。 in persn 亲自, 当面。它相当于neself。 例:I will g t the meeting in persn. 我将亲自赴会。
