| Step 1 Warming up 1. Make greetings. 1) Who’s on duty today? 2) How many students are there in our classroom? 3) What’s wrong with him(her)? 2. Set a screen: Li Yan’s best friend is going to have a birthday party and she wants t give her a gift. But how to say to her? Can you help her? Please use the dialogue you have learnt in the last semester and a very important sentence: It’s for you. Step 2 Presentation 1. Show the pictures and point at the birthday cake in the picture to show them the new word: cake 2. Ask the children if they know the name of the room where their parents do the cooking. Make them to read the new word: kitchen 3. Listen to the tape and make them to read the dialogue together and learn the new words and sentences. 4. Make the Ss to know the differences between the word table and desk, hamburger and sandwich. Step 3 Practice 1. Do the practice. 2. Ask the Ss to draw a picture of Dream Home in their hearts and make a short dialogue to introduce it. Step 4 Assessment 1. Do the practice with the children together. 2. Enable the Ss to read and write the new words and sentences they have learnt in this class. 3. Enable the children t introduce someone his(her) home. Step 5 Additional activities 1. Make sure that the Ss can say the fruniture’s names wherever and whenever they saw them. 2. Ask them whether they can help their parents with their housework.

课后反思 | 对教室稍作布置,以此导入新课内容,谈论教室里的事物,如:There's a map of China on the wall.等等。让学生练习句型朗朗上口之后,然后再利用黑板上布置的图片,要求学生用there be句型的肯定句式来谈论风景照里某地有某人或某物,在回到课文内容学习,这样由身边的事物过渡到图片里的事物,学生很快就掌握了新句型, 这样就把课文的重难点给突破了,学生的学习积极性也得到了提高。
