    【教学过程】
    Step 1 Talking abut the weather
    First, get the students t talk abut the weather tday.
    Step 2 Shwing a picture f snwy days
    Shw a picture f snwy days and then get the students t talk abut the weather cnditins. Encurage the students t discuss what will happen t cars and peple.
    Picture A: It’s snwy. The snw is heavy. The heavy snw cvers the grund.It cvers everything. (Teach the wrd ‘cver’.)
    Picture B: It is difficult t walk. It is easy fr peple t fall ver.
    Picture C: It is dangerus t drive a car. Lk at the picture there is car accident.
    Tw peple are trapped in the car. They can’t get ut. They are victims. (Teach the wrd ‘victim’.)
    Step 3 Discussing abut what the victims can d
    Get the students t discuss abut what the victims can d t get smene t help them.
    Step 4 Lking at the tw reprts
    Explain that Mr. and Mrs. Su had a car accident during the snwstrm. Ask students t lk at the tw reprts and explain that the reprt frm in Part A1 is frm the htline as the reprt in Part A2 is made by the plicemen after they rescued Mr. and Mrs. Su.
    Explain the items in the reprt frm and make sure that they can understand it.
    Step 5 Playing the tape twice
    Play the tape fr the students t find as much infrmatin as pssible. And then fill in the reprt frm. And f curse, it is impssible fr them t cmplete the table by listening.
    Get them t read the rept belw and find mre infrmatin.
    Step 6 Checking the answers
    After cmpleting the reprt frm, invite the student t check the answers in pairs.
    Step 7 Making up a new dialgue
    Get the students t wrk in pairs and make up a new dialgue between an interviewer and Mr. r Mrs. Su.
    Say, ‘An interviewer went t see Mr. Su and Mrs. Su in the hspital, he/she interviewed them abut the accident.’ Invite the students t talk abut the infrmatin in the reprt frm r they can add smething.
    Step 8 Cmpleting Sandy’s e-mail
    Step 9 Hmewrk
    1.Finish ff the relative exercises.
    2.Recite the useful wrds and expressins.
