    Step 1:
    Check t see if the students have previewed the text as required. Ask if they have any questins cncerning the meaning f the reading. Encurage ther students t try t answer the questins. Yu may als ask the students if they have ever gne n a picnic.
    Step 2:
    Play the auditape. Have the class fllw the auditape. Use yur wn discretin t decide whether t discuss any f the new vcabulary with the students.
    Step 3:
    Divide the class int small grups. Ask the students t discuss the reading in English arund the fllwing tpic:
    What are the main things that happen t Danny, Brian and Jenny in this lessn?
    Instruct the students t try t tell what happened as a stry. Encurage them t use the wrds first, then and finally.
    UNIT PROJECT: WRITE ABOUT A TRIP(CONTINUED) (15 MINUTES)Cnclude unit prject. Divide the class int small grups. Within their grups, students present their prjects t each ther. Encurage the students wh are watching the presentatin t ask questins. The student wh is presenting will try t answer the questins.
    ACTIVITY BOOK (5 MINUTES)Play the auditape. The aural exercises fr this lessn are:
    1. Listen t the auditape. Fill in the blanks. Write the wrds yu hear.
