      Famus Chinese artist Chang Shana has spent her whle life prtecting and spreading the art f Dunhuang.
      An exhibitin at the Natinal Art Museum f China, called "Blssms f Dunhuang", celebrates Chang Shana's 60 - year artistic jurney. She fell in lve with Dunhuang thanks t her father Chang Shuhng, wh was the pineer f intrducing Dunhuang art.
      In 1943, her father, an artist wh had wn several medals in France, made up his mind t cntribute t Dunhuang after reading abut the cave art there. The family traveled fr a whle mnth, and in autumn, they finally reached the Mga Grttes in Dunhuang.
      The next year, Chang Shuhng funded Dunhuang Art Institute (研究院), nw knwn as Dunhuang Academy. He gave up a bright future in his art career t fcus n the prtectin and study f Dunhuang's cultural treasures. But this was nt an easy task because the living cnditins were extremely difficult. Yet, Chang Shana and her father stayed t cntinue their missin.
