He adds that the number f abandned tents in Reading and Leicester festivals dubles, meaning that 14,000 tents culd have been thrwn away.
In terms f addressing this prblem, ne ppular idea is t emply a tent depsit scheme (押金方案). Under this scheme, festival-gers wuld pay a depsit t bring their tent t the festival, which wuld be returned t them if they take their tent hme. “A similar thing happens with litter. Sme festivals make attendees (参加者) pay a £10 ‘ec bnd’, which will be returned t them if they fill up a bag f rubbish and hand it in at the end f the festival,” Wedge says.
