      Step 1 Lead-in
      1.Shw the Chinese pem t the Ss. Then ask them t answer the fllwing questins:
      (1) What’s the name f the pem?
      (2) D yu have any friends?
      (3) Where can we make new friends??
      2.Let the students knw a new way t make friend. Step 2 Let’s read! Pre-reading
      1.Shw the tw psts in the frum, the teacher analyses the frm f the psts, and explain the frum t the Ss.
      2. Ask students t pay attentin t the tw students’ pht bards in the frum. Then label the phts with the wrds in the bx.
      3.Ask sme students t share their answers.
      4. Help students knw what they can learn abut the tw students frm the bards.
      Step 3 Let’s read! While-reading.
      Task1. Ask students t read tw psts and answer the fllwing questins.
      (1) Wh wrte the psts?
      (2) Why d they write the psts?
      Task2. Ask the Ss t lk at the tw students’ pht bards in
      1a. Then ask them t match the students with their pht bards. Task3.
      1.Ask the Ss t read again and cmplete the table with the infrmatin frm the psts.
      2.Check their answers.
      3.let students knw what aspects we can intrduce urselves: name, age, cuntry, family, pet, favurite fd, hbbies...
      (Tip:The students can circle the key infrmatin f the psts.)
      4.Share their wn infrmatin
