Seventeen-year-ld Dhanush Eashwar, wh has started cding at 7, is ne f the 2024 winners f Swift Student Challenge, which tasks yung creatrs with develping apps that slve real-wrld prblems. His submissin, Finger Dance, aims t facilitate better cmmunicatin between the deaf and hearing cmmunities. Using machine learning and augmented reality, it recgnizes users’ hand pses and classifies them as American Sign Language (ASL) letters, helping beginners learn ASL.
