“May I help yu with that?” my husband asked kindly. The elderly man lked up, surprised but grateful,
and ndded with a trembling smile. Withut hesitatin, my husband stepped frward, steadying the glasses as the
man held them. Gently, he filled the secnd glass with chclate milk, his mvements intentinal t avid spills.
The man whispered a sft “thank yu,” with his eyes shining with gratitude. Other diners watched the scene, and

As he sat dwn, he gave me a small nd, and we cntinued ur meal. The children, having witnessed the
scene, began t chat abut what had just happened, their admiratin fr their father evident in their wide eyes.
“Dad, that was really kind f yu!” ne f them exclaimed. The atmsphere arund ur table felt lighter, warmer,
as thugh the small act f kindness had tuched nt just the elderly man but everyne in the buffet. It is this
unfrgettable experience that cnstantly reminds me f the pwer f sympathy t bring peple tgether.
