First, they light the candles and then…教学重点能够 听说读写单词here，for， light，then和重点句子Here is a birthday cake for you。教学难点用英文描述完整的过生日的过程。教学准备Tape, recorder ,picture教学过程（教学模式）Step 1 Warming—up (复习 ——温故、引新)1） 教师播放生日歌，在欢快的节奏中，师生自然地跟唱。活跃课堂气氛。2） 播放歌谣。学生边跟读边熟悉字母组合oy在单词中的发音，感知学习，反复联系说歌谣。Step 2. Presentation (呈现 ——输入、理解)1）教师说：Roy 今天过生日，我们一起祝福他。学生一起说：Happy birthday , Roy！2）教师先把事先把水果，食品，玩具等卡片放在盒子里，和同学们说：Roy invites us to his birthday party. Let’s go and celebrate together. Here are some gifts for him.让学生从盒子里随机取出一张卡片。3）让学生使用卡片上的词语，模拟送礼物： Here is /are… for you. 教师板书重点词语和句子。4）利用PPT 播放过生日的过程，让学生边看边说出词语。5）教师提出问题说：How do they celebrate the birthday?  引导学生运用first， and then， after that 等描述步骤的词语叙述生日过程，边说边贴出图片，板书重点词汇。Step 3 Practice (操练 ——内化、熟练)1） 师生一起唱生日歌祝福Roy。2） 让学生听指令，模拟动作：light the candles, sing the birthday song,  make a wish , blow out the candles , cut the cake, eat the cake然后，请一名学生说指令，其他学生模拟做动作。3） 让学生汇报上节课的调查结果：同学们是怎样过生日的。Step 4 Production (练习——输出、检测) 完成练习册习题。Step5.
