Step1.Lead in.
1.T: How can we live a green life? What can we do to protect the environment in our daily lives?
Revise the last lesson by this way .
2.T:Protecting the environment is very important. We can help protect the environment by doing some simple things, such as turning off the tap when brushing our teeth, taking shorter showers, using both sides of the paper and recycling empty bottles.
Teach: turn off the tap empty
Step 2.Listening.
1.Let students complete the table of Part A1.
T:Let us listen to the conversation and finish the table in PartA1.
2.T:Daniel and Sandy are talking about the results of the survey. Complete PartA2.
3.Retell PartA2 in sentences, then check the answer.
1) Thirty-five students turn off the tap when they brush their teeth.
2)Twenty students take showers for less than ten minutes.
3)Forty students use both sides of the paper.
4)Fifteen students recycle empty bottles.
4.Complete PartA3.
Step3 Activity.
1.Do a survey in groups of four and ask their group members about their daily habits.
2.Ask some groups to show in class.
