1. There are s many chices.chice的常用用法：表示“选择”、“抉择”，可用作可数或不可数名词。Eg: Yu have yur chice. 你有自己的选择自由。 He is faced with a difficult chice. 他面临困难的抉择。【注意】表示做出选择，通常用动词make. 习惯搭配： make a chice/chices 做出选择Eg: We each had t make a chice. 我们每个人都得做出抉择。
(2) 用于have n chice but t d sth.意为“除做……之外，别无选择”或“只好做”。Eg: I have n chice but t accept the fact. 我只有承认事实。 He has n chice but t g with them. 他没办法只好跟着他们一起去。 He had n chice but t resign. 他除了辞职别无选择。 We had n chice but t d what we were asked t d. 我们只好照办。

She is strict but nice. strict 是形容词，意为“严厉的，严格的”，可作表语也可作定语。Eg: Our head teacher is very strict, but we still need many strict rules. 我们的班主任很严格，但我们还需要许多严格的制度。(2) 常见短语be strict with sb. 意为“对某人严格要求”；be strict in (ding) sth.意为“对（做）某事严格要求”。Eg: Mr. Smith is very strict with his children. 史密斯先生对他的孩子们要求十分严格。 We shuld be strict in (ding) ur wrk. 对工作我们应该严格要求。
