DifficultpointsTo understand and act out the story.Teaching proceduresStep 1 Warming up & Revision1. Greet the class.2. Repeat the number song.Call pairs of Ss to the front of the class to offer per- formances of the song and actions.3. Make dialogues with individuals. Encourage the children to respond. Where is the…?/ Is it on/ in/ under the…?/ Do you like…?/ How many …do you have?4. Oral communicationAsk pairs of the Ss to the front of the class to offer performances of the conversations. Help the Ss use as much as possible sentences which have been learned.Step 2 Presentation & Practice1. Review the words by playing the guessing game. Invite a S to the front, and face to the Bb. Show a bag and say I bought some fruit. They are in the bag. What’s in it? Can you guess? Sorry, I don’t like…. Yes, I like…. I have…. What about you? 2. Draw the Ss’ attention to the picture in their books. Elicit as much information as possible about the story by asking questions. For example, point to the animals and ask How many animals can you see? What are they? Where are they? What are they doing in the orchard? Point to the picture and teach the sentences. I’m…/ I can get the…/ We have... Ask the Ss to pay attention to the intonation. 3. Watch the video. The Ss watch and listen.4. Play the video again, pausing after utterance for the Ss to point at the corresponding picture. 5. Listen and repeat. Encourage the class to point to the animal saying each utterance. 6. Check the accuracy of pronunciation. 7. Ask smaller groups to repeat. Tactfully correct any pronun- ciation errors.8. Act out the story.Step 3 Consolidation & Extension1.
