Why d humans like t play s much? We play sprts, play hide-and-seek and play cards. We lve them all, and we’re nt alne. Dgs, cats, bears, and even birds seem t like t play, t.

Withut play, we knw that ther species becme easy t get angry and feel unsafe. Panksepp thinks the rising rates f ADHD (小儿多动症) may in part be caused by this prblem. In tests where mre playtime was given t kids shwing signs f ADHD, there was great imprvement in their behavir as reprted by teachers and parents.
Panksepp says, “Play is a very valuable thing fr the develpment f childhd. And we have t learn t use it wisely and make sure ur kids get plenty f it.”
()42. What d humans and ther animals have in cmmn?

()44. What can we learn abut play?
