Teacher shares her own experience of misunderstanding in English with students.2. Teacher asks students to read the expressions in Activity 1， guess their meanings and invites some students to share their opinions.3. Teacher asks students to think about more English expressions that may cause misunderstandings.2  Activity 2  Teacher leads students to predict what the passage is about according to the title. 9  Activity 3     1st reading： Teacher invites students to read the passage to check the prediction.2nd reading： Teacher asks students to read and find the words or expressions that caused the misunderstandings with the help of the illustrations.5   Activity 4   Teacher asks students to read the definitions in Activity 3， match them to the posts， share their answers and give the reasons.9  Activity 5  1. Teacher helps students understand the requirement of Activity 4.2. To help students retell the situations in the posts properly， teacher guides students to list important points to organize their ideas.              3. Teacher invites students to retell the situations in the four posts. 4  Think and Share  Teacher asks students to discuss the first two questions in “Think and Share” and invites some students to share their opinions.6   Activity 6     1. Teacher leads students to notice the signs for Internet language and the message conveyed from the orange box.2. Teacher invites students to share their own experiences of the words or expressions that caused the misunderstandings in Chinese.3. Teacher encourages students to voice their opinion about the title.  Homework      Option 1. Write a summary about each post.Option 2.
