Warm up Sing the ABC song together. Step2. Presentation 1. Play the recording of Read aloud, students listen and repeat, then read in roles.2. Play the audio of Listen, tick or cross. Students finish exercises and check answers.3. Complete Cross out the words that don’t belong, check answers together.4. Do Choose and role-play, check answers and act out the dialogues.5. Show the pictures on Page 76. Play the recording, students finish exercises: How much is each thing? Answer with sentences: The pencil box is... yuan. The book is... yuan. One fruit plate is... yuan.6. Play the recording again, students repeat. Answer questions: Is Mike a good buyer? What else can you tell about Mike?7. Play the chant audio, students chant together. Review the pronunciation rules of -e, i-e, u-e, a-e and o-e.8. Finish the task: Make your to-do list for a school fair. Step3. Practice Choose one part from Read aloud, Choose and role-play, Read, Write and discuss or Listen and chant. Create and act out new performances in groups. Step4. Summary We reviewed all words, key sentences and letter combination pronunciation rules in this book. Step5. Homework Listen and read words and sentences from Unit 1 to Unit 6, and try to read them independently.
