      Lee and Jim were gd friends. One day, they were ging thrugh a desert.On the way, they had an argument. And Lee hit Jim. Jim felt hurt. He said nthing but wrte in the sand, “Tday, my best friend hit me.”
      They kept n walking and gt t a small lake. They decided t take a bath. They jumped int the lake. But all f a sudden, Jim culdn’t mve. Smething caught him in the water. He had truble breathing. He cried, “Help!” Luckily, Lee heard him in time and saved him. Jim wrte n a flat stne, “Tday, my best friend saved my life.”
      Lee asked him, “Yu wrte in the sand then and yu write n a stne nw. “Why?”“When smene des smething hurtful, we shuld write it dwn in the sand. The wind can blw it away. When smene des smething gd fr us, we shuld write it dwn n a stne.N wind can erase it.”

      ▶ne day ,名词短语,表 “某天”,用于过去时叙事开篇,可置于句首/句末,是故事类文本的高频开篇短语。▶拓展:若表将来的 “某天”,用Sme day(如:Sme day, we will travel tgether.总有一天,我们会一起旅行。) ▶g thrugh,“动词+介词” 型固定短语(不可拆分),本句含义为:穿过;通过(侧重从空间内部穿过本句含义为穿过)。
      One day, they were ging thrugh a desert.一天,他们正在穿越一片沙漠。
      ▶g thrugh 与 g acrss的用法区别:
      On the way, they had an argument.在路上,他们吵了一架。
      ▶On the way 在途中;在路上,表动作发生的具体位置。▶拓展:“n ne’s way t + 地点”表“在某人去…… 的路上”(如:n my way t schl 在我上学的路上),地点为 hme/here/there 时省略t(如:n my way hme在我回家的路上)。▶have an argument with sb. 与某人发生争吵;争执argument 争吵;争论;论点,对应动词为argue,“争吵;争论”。▶拓展:argue with sb. 与某人争吵例:On the way, they argued with each ther. 在路上,他们互相争吵。

      ▶hit v.打;击打;碰撞(hit 的原形、过去式、过去分词完全相同)▶拓展:•hit at sb.:朝某人打去(强调动作过程,未必打中)例:She hit at the by with a bk.(她拿着一本书朝那个男孩打去。)•hit sb.:打了某人(强调动作结果,已经打中)例:The by hit the dg with a stick.(男孩用棍子打了那只狗)•hit sb. n/in the+身体部位: 打某人的身体部位后接硬部位,如头、胳膊、肩膀、背,需用介词n。后接软部位/凹陷部位,如脸、眼睛、鼻子用介词in。例:He hit me n the arm.(他打在了我的胳膊上。) She hit him in the eye.(她打中了他的眼睛。)
      ▶keep n ding sth.:继续做某事(强调不顾阻碍、持续做)▶keep的其他常见用法:keep ding sth.一直做某事(动作连续不间断)例:She kept crying.(她一直哭。)keep sb. frm ding sth.阻止某人做某事例:Nthing can keep me frm learning English.(没有什么能阻止我学习 英语。)keep sb./sth.+adj.使某人/某物保持……状态例:We shuld keep ur classrm clean.(我们应该保持教室干净。)

      ▶decide t d sth.:决定做某事,decide后必须接动词不定式(t+动词原形)。例:I decided t study English hard. 我决定努力学习英语。▶take a bath:洗澡。bath 前可加形容词修饰(如:take a cld bath 洗冷水澡)。
      Luckily, Lee heard him in time and saved him.你幸运的是,李及时听到了他的呼叫声并救了他。
      ▶Luckily 幸运的是;幸好副词(评注性副词),由形容词lucky(幸运的)+ 后缀ly构成,置于句首,后加逗号,对整个句子的事件进行评价,表 “事情的结果是幸运的”。同类评注性副词:Sadly(遗憾的是)、Happily(开心的是)。▶hear “听见;听到”,实义动词(及物动词),后可直接接人/物作宾语,表“听到某人/某物的声音”。hear sb. (ding sth.): 听见某人(正在做某事)
      ▶in time 及时,强调“动作时机刚好,避免了不好的结果”。
