Our library will pen after three-mnth repair wrk. Althugh we had sme mney prblems, I think visitrs will be surprised at hw different everything is. We didn’t replace the windws as we’d planned. They just needed repairing. We’ve been able t replace all thse ld wden shelves. The cmputers have been mved t a new IT rm. Sadly, mney ran ut befre we had the chance t paint the meeting rm but we’re hping t cmplete that next year. Oh, yu can see ur new tables and chairs.
The drs will pen n 28 August. Then we get dwn t business in September. The lcal Histry Sciety will be meeting n the first Mnday f each mnth at 7:30 as usual. We’ll be starting ur Wednesday lunchtime Bk Club at l: 00 pm. The Cmputer Club wn’ t be running in September as we still need t cmplete wrk in the IT rm, but this will certainly be returning in Octber. And we’re especially lking frward t welcming a lcal writer, Sally Wainwright, t a new event n 22 September. Visitrs will be able t hear her read frm her latest wrks.
