search的基本意思是“搜查”,指怀着发现某物的希望而认真、深入地寻找或调查,多指搜索、检查犯罪的人或违禁的、丢失的东西。强调所用的努力及其彻底性,含有对立或不满的意味,用于比喻可表示“冥思苦想”等。search既可用作及物动词,也可用作不及物动词。用作及物动词时,其后可跟人、房屋、衣袋等名词或代词作宾语。
search fr表示 “寻找”“搜寻”，更加强调有具体的目标或对象，即进行搜寻是为了找出特定的人或物。search fr后面直接跟要寻找的具体人或物。e.g. They are searching fr the missing child. 他们正在寻找失踪的孩子。search fr语义上更强调寻找的目的性，是为了找到某个特定的目标而进行搜索。
intrduce作动词，表示“介绍；使……初次了解……”，有如下几种常见用法：1.intrduce sb.t sb./sth. 介绍某人认识某人/某物。e.g. I'd like t intrduce yu t my friend, Jack.我想让你认识我的朋友杰克。2.intrduce neself 自我介绍。e.g. Culd yu please intrduce yurself t the grup?你能向大家做个自我介绍吗？
3.intrduce sth.t sb. 向某人介绍某物。e.g. Let me intrduce this bk t yu.让我介绍一下这本书给你。4.intrduce sb.as sth. 把某人介绍为某个身份。e.g. Ladies and gentlemen, let me intrduce ur new CEO, Ms. Wang.女士们先生们，让我向大家介绍我们的新CEO王女士。
