    Unit 3 My friends.2课时  Part A Lets learn & Lets chant教学内容Lets learn学生能够听、说、认读描述外貌特征的单词tall, strong, short, thin, friendly, quiet学生能够在情景中熟练运用句型Hes/ Shes…”介绍人物的性格和外貌特征学生能够熟练运用句型Who is he/ she?询问他人的姓名并回答Lets chant学生能够通过有节奏的说唱来进一步强化单词的音义联系,并增加课堂的趣味性学生能够理解歌谣中对人物外貌和性格特征的描述,并创编新的歌谣描述自己的朋友教学目标(一)语言知识目标1. 学生能够听、说、认读单词strong, friendly, quiet。2. 学生能够运用strong, friendly, quiet来进行人物的性格及外貌特征的描述。3. 学生在图片、课件和文本语境的帮助下,运用句型 He is/ She is ...来进行简单地描述人物的性格和外貌特征。(二)思维能力目标1. 学生能够在情景中灵活运用核心句型描述他人的性格和外貌特征2. 学生能够熟练询问他人关于名字信息,及给予回答3. 学生能够正确读出单词:quiet, strong, friendly(三)学习能力目标1. 学生通过pair work等互动活动,学会与他人合作学习的能力。2. 通过不同的学习任务,学生能有意识地运用所学字、词、句,培养说英语的能力。(四)文化品格目标1. 通过学习对朋友的描述让学生可以从多个角度来认识朋友教学过程Step 1: Warm-up and review1. Greetings.2. Lead in.T: Look at this boy. Whats his name?Ss: His name is John.T: Do you remember? Who is Johns new friend.Ss: Zhang Peng.(利用两个问句Whats his name?Who is his new friend?,复习上节课的重要句型,还有回顾上节课的主要内容)Step 2: PresentationT: Lets compare with them. First, lets look at Zhang Peng. Please watch carefully and choose the suitable words to describe him.T: Then answer me about the question. What is Zhang Peng like?1)  Zhang Peng is ________.2)  Zhang Peng is ________.(课件中给学生4个形容词进行选择填空。tall, short, strong, thin 进行观察比较,一般学生都能快速地做出回答。)S1: Zhang Peng is tall.S2: Zhang Peng is strong.T: Great. We can say Zhang Peng is tall and strong.(先呈现两个简单句,再把两句拼成一个句子,加入and 进行连接。)T: How about John? Watch the picture again. And choose the words to describe him.S3: John is short.S4: John is thin.T: Good job. So John is short and thin.Step 3: PracticeLets talkT: Look at these boys and girls. Lets look for more details about them.1)  AmyT: Whats her name?Ss: Her name is Amy.T: What is Amy like?Ss: She is friendly.T: Yes. Amy is friendly. (展示图片,单词及音标,呈现friendly时,可以加入friend。让学生了解两个单词之间的联系。)T: In our class, who is friendly?S1: ... is friendly.S2: ... is friendly.T: And how about teachers? Which teacher is friendly?S3: ... teacher is friendly.(讲到新词friendly时,可以扩展到我们实际生活中,让学生来造句,讲讲身边的同学和老师)2SamT: Whats his name?Ss: His name is Sam.T: Sam doesnt like talking. What is he like?Ss: He is quiet.T: Sam is quiet. Just like Peter in our class. (举一个班级里比较内向的同学的名字)T: Who is also quiet in our class?S1: ... is quiet, too.3)LilyT: Look at this girl. Whats her name?Ss: Her name is Lily.T: What is Lily like?Ss: She is quiet and friendly.T: Great. 4)TimT: Look! Whats his name?Ss: His name is Tim.T: Is Tim a tall boy?Ss: Yes, he is. T: Tim is tall. Is he fat?Ss: No, he isnt. He is thin.T: Thats right. Tim is tall and thin.Lets guess.T: Look. John and Mike are playing a games. They are talking about their friends. Lets guess. Who is he or she?1)  He is a boy. He is tall and strong. 2)  He is a boy. He is tall and thin.3)  He is a boy. He is quiet.4)  She is a girl. She is friendly.5)  She is a girl. She is quiet and friendly.(给出关键的信息提示,让学生来猜,熟悉一下重点句型和单词)   T: OK. Now lets play a guessing game. You describe your friends to us. And we guess who is he or she?(等句型和单词熟练了之后,可以把话题转移到猜同班同学,先让学生准备一下,用简单的英文描述一下他的性格和外貌,再让其他同学来猜)Lets readT: Open your books and turn to page 25. Lets watch the video and follow it.Lets chantT: Listen to the chant and lets follow it.(chant比较有节奏,可以等学生熟悉了节拍之后,小组进行比赛)Step 4: Homework
