Unit 3 My friends.第2课时  Part A Let’s learn & Let’s chant教学内容Let’s learn学生能够听、说、认读描述外貌特征的单词“tall, strong, short, thin, friendly, quiet”学生能够在情景中熟练运用句型“He’s/ She’s…”介绍人物的性格和外貌特征。学生能够熟练运用句型“Who is he/ she?”询问他人的姓名并回答。Let’s chant学生能够通过有节奏的说唱，来进一步强化单词的音义联系，并增加课堂的趣味性。学生能够理解歌谣中，对人物外貌和性格特征的描述，并创编新的歌谣描述自己的朋友。教学目标（一）语言知识目标1. 学生能够听、说、认读单词strong, friendly, quiet。2. 学生能够运用strong, friendly, quiet来进行人物的性格及外貌特征的描述。3. 学生能够在图片、课件和文本语境的帮助下，运用句型 “He is/ She is ...”来进行简单地描述人物的性格和外貌特征。（二）思维能力目标1. 学生能够在情景中灵活运用核心句型描述他人的性格和外貌特征。2. 学生能够熟练询问他人关于名字信息，及给予回答。3. 学生能够正确读出单词：quiet, strong, friendly（三）学习能力目标1. 学生通过pair work等互动活动，学会与他人合作学习的能力。2. 通过不同的学习任务，学生能有意识地运用所学字、词、句，培养“说英语”的能力。（四）文化品格目标1. 通过学习对朋友的描述，让学生可以从多个角度来认识朋友。教学过程Step 1: Warm-up and review1. Who is John’s new friend.Ss: Zhang Peng.(利用两个问句What’s his name?和Who is his new friend?，复习上节课的重要句型，还有回顾上节课的主要内容)Step 2: PresentationT: Let’s compare with them. First, let’s look at Zhang Peng. Please watch carefully and choose the suitable words to describe him.T: Then answer me about the question. What is Zhang Peng like?1)  Zhang Peng is ________.2)  Zhang Peng is ________.(课件中给学生4个形容词进行选择填空。tall, short, strong, thin 进行观察比较，一般学生都能快速地做出回答。)S1: Zhang Peng is tall.S2: Zhang Peng is strong.T: Great. We can say Zhang Peng is tall and strong.(先呈现两个简单句，再把两句拼成一个句子，加入and 进行连接。)T: How about John? Watch the picture again.
